Food as Care Research Report

The Food as Care Research Report is a culmination of a community survey effort and 1.5 years of independent research done on global Food Systems, with focus on the settler United States. Both of these efforts were led by two friends and collaborators, who are passionate about food, relationships and understanding role of food in movement-building. The report is an offering to our communities, intentioned to be a tool to strengthen advocacy and unlock funding.

Too often, food is underfunded or overlooked entirely in organizing budgets and grant making. This report highlights the profound role and impact that food has in sustaining movements, nurturing relationships, and supporting collective well-being. We hope it compels policy makers, funders, for investing in food as an essential resource in community work.

Enjoy exploring the report and thank you for being part of this collective effort of better understanding what we need to sustain our movements.
