About Us

We are Zara and Eiman - two friends who first met at an Eid celebration, where we bonded over a Lion’s mane nihari. Our friendship grew over shared meals, reflections about community and a mutual belief of Food as Medicine.

Eiman comes to this work having spent a large part of her life curating experiences and meals around the evolving health needs of her disabled and chronically ill family and communities. Professionally, she’s held roles across Communications, Business Operations, Contracts and Grants Management, People Management and small Business Administration.

Zara came to this work through their long history working in and across food, from running a food truck, working with farmers and small businesses. Professionally, Zara has held a number of roles across Documentary Filmmaking, Youth Education, Event Production, People Management and small Business Operations.
